I’m a licensed esthetician, and I’ve been in beauty since 2018. I started as a lash tech at Amazing Lash Studio. It didn’t take long before I saw how much more there was to learn, so I started teaching myself and building on my own, on the side, while I worked at a med spa.
I built my clientele one appointment at a time, and every dollar and every free hour went back into the business. In 2021 it became my own studio, The Lash Cafe. As I grew and added services, the name grew with it, and in 2023 The Lash & Glow Cafe was born. It’s my pride and joy.
Why “Cafe”
I call it that because of what’s here: lash extensions, lash lift and tint, brow lamination, brow wax and tint, and spray tans. And while you’re in the chair, a cold brew, water, tea, or a snack, whatever you’re in the mood for.
What I want for you
I want you to walk in and feel heard, seen and taken care of. No over-explaining what you want, no pressure to add on more than you came for. And I want you to leave looking like it, glowing from the inside out.
What that turned into
I opened The Lash & Glow Cafe in Cumming in 2023 and I work alone on purpose. It means I remember the curl you liked and the one that irritated you. It also means I can spend the first ten minutes of your first appointment answering questions instead of getting straight to work, which is usually what you actually needed.
Lash lifts are my specialty, which is unusual. Nearly every studio around here leads with extensions and treats the lift as a starter service. I built my book the other way round.
My extensions are UV cured. The adhesive sets the moment the light hits it, so there are no fumes sitting under your closed eyes for two hours. The bond is stronger, retention is better, and you’re more comfortable. Nobody else around here is doing it. I got to it early enough that I now teach it to other artists through The UV Standard.
I won’t oversell you. If a lift suits your lashes better than a full set, I’ll say so, and I’ll say it before you’re in the chair.
In the chair
Two people asking me for the same look get two different maps, because they have different eye shapes and different natural lashes underneath. I don’t copy off a style chart.
Weight and length are limited by what your own lashes can safely carry. I build the fullest set that stays inside that limit, and I tell you where the limit is rather than overloading them to hit a look you brought in on your phone. That is the part that decides whether you still have your own lashes in a year.
Ask me anything. What it costs, whether it hurts, what happens when they grow out, whether you can still wear mascara. Not knowing is the normal starting point.
